The largest space museum complex in modern Russia – the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center at VDNKh was first opened to the public on April 13, 2018 in the restored historical pavilion No. 34 Cosmos.

The center exhibits more than 120 unique samples of aircraft and space technology that have never been exhibited before in museum space.

10:00 The territory of the Moscow Kremlin. History and architecture.

The Kremlin ensemble in Moscow includes the fortress itself with its powerful walls and towers, as well as cathedrals and chambers, magnificent palaces and front office buildings.

The Kremlin and Red Square complex were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1990 as one of the outstanding historical monuments of the planet.

Visiting to the Armory

This tour is not carried out on Thursdays. In this case, the program replaces by programs of 2 and 3 days.

The Armory – the museum-treasury – is a part of the complex of the Grand Kremlin Palace.  For centuries, the basis of the museum collection was the precious items stored in the royal treasury, made in Kremlin workshops, and received as a gift from embassies of foreign countries.

The Armory holds ancient state regalia, ceremonial royal clothes and coronation gowns, vestments of hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church, the largest collection of gold and silver items made by Russian artisans, Western European silver art, artefacts, a collection of carriages, and equestrian paraphernalia.

The museum presents about four thousand monuments of decorative and applied art in Russia, Europe and the East IV – early XX century. Their highest artistic level and special historical and cultural value brought the Armory of the Moscow Kremlin world fame.
