15:00 Tour of Vladimir – the ancient capital of North – Eastern Russia.

Dmitrievsky Cathedral – a monument of the Vladimir-Suzdal architecture of the pre-Mongol period.

Visiting the territory of the palace and castle of Andrei Bogolyubsky – the only civil building of Ancient Russia that has survived at least partially, an excursion to one of the oldest Russian monasteries on Vladimir land – the Bogolyubovsky monastery: the chambers of Prince Andrei, the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin.

Church of the Intercession on the Nerl. It was located practically on the river “arrow”, making out the intersection of the most important water trade routes. This miracle, preserved from the 12th century, is called the Swan Temple.

Departure to Suzdal (30 km). Guided tour during the way.

Sightseeing tour of the city Ivanovo. The city was known for the production of textiles since the XVII century. Since then, the city has been called the chintz region, and also the textile capital of Russia and, of course, the city of brides. It is the youngest city of the Golden Ring.

14:00 Dinner in restaurant in Kostroma.

15:00 Tour of Kostroma. Acquaintance with the merchant city, which has preserved the original appearance of the architectural ensemble of the 18th century.

Inspection of the Central Square (“pans”), shopping arcades, fire tower of the 19th century.

Ipatiev Monastery (Trinity Cathedral, tomb or chamber of the Romanov boyars) – the main symbols of Kostroma, the cradle of the Romanov dynasty.

Museum “Flax and Birch” bark is one of those museums that can only be found in such old cities as Kostroma. Here you will learn about the technique of yarn and weaving.

10:00 Excursion program in Yaroslavl. You will get acquainted with the history of Yaroslavl, see the Spit of the Volga and Kotorosli rivers, visit the Assumption Cathedral, walk along the Volga embankment which had been reconstructed for the 1000th anniversary of the city, and explore the unique architectural ensemble of the central part of Yaroslavl, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Visiting Transfiguration Monastery is the main city attraction. Because of its fortified walls, it is called the Kremlin. The cathedral built in 16th century is the main cathedral of the monastery. It has preserved the original paintings; it is the oldest of the temples of Yaroslavl that have survived to our time. At the end of the 18th century, a handwritten list of the masterpiece of Old Russian literature, “The Word of Igor’s Campaign”, was discovered here.
